Terms of Service

Last updated: 14 July 2026

By using TimberBuild3D (the “Service”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

TimberBuild3D is a free browser-based tool for planning timber structures in 3D. It is free to use, requires no account, and is operated as a solo project based in the United Kingdom.

2. Use of the Service

You may use the Service for personal and commercial planning purposes. You must not:

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure

3. No accounts

The Service does not require or offer accounts. Your designs are stored locally in your own browser — we do not receive, store, or have access to them.

4. Your designs

You own the designs you create with the Service. We do not claim any rights over them, and because they never leave your browser, we never receive a copy.

5. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. Cut lists, dimensions, and measurements generated by the tool are provided for planning purposes only. Always verify measurements before purchasing materials or beginning construction. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on the tool’s output.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uptime. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top reflects any changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
